Day Trip To Wells

 On a beautiful hot sunny August Saturday six of us travelled to Wells in Somerset to have a day out and shop for fabrics.

We had a coffee the walked around the town…so beautiful.  The Bishops Palace, Town market, busking harpist, violinist and other classy instruments!  We saw a baby Llama, gorgeous old town houses of the church built in the 1600’s, plus the magnificent Cathedral.

Lunch was outside in the grounds of the Bishops Palace and then off to the fabric shop Sew Vintage, an emporium of fabric and haberdashery.

We all bought way too much and then rendezvoused for more refreshments before having a free hour or two to shop and wander.

A great day out and one we shall repeat in the future I am sure.
